I bought some new pants. The fly doesn’t stay up. What a rip off.

Attempted to make my first pie. Perhaps it’s time to gain some (/any/one) domestic skills. Unfortunately I have no measuring spoons, so I “eyeballed” it.
While rolling out the dough, I tried a little, and it has the keen aftertaste of vinegar. So completed the pie anyways (peach!) and sprinkled a bunch of sugar on the top. That should help it, right?

Hesse-Honegger is a scientific illustrator and science artist. Her web-site reveals her study of “morphologically disturbed insects”, basically insects who have developed all messed-up due to nuclear fallout. I found it pretty scary that some of these are from contaminated areas in the U.S.
